To the right you will see a poll on who will be the Yankees starting CF. I believe it will be Brett Gardner. He started to show signs of life with the bat last September after some instruction from Kevin Long. (who I believe to be a hitting genius) Hopefully this will carry over into the spring. Plus he has good defence and amazing speed.

I am going to vote for Gardner as well. It will be interesting to see how him and Melky compete during spring training (thats if there is still competition for a centerfielder-theres still always time for the yanks to sign a big name i guess). Gardner has speed and I am not really sure if I trust Melky. Perhaps he will surprise me though. Damon should however not be placed in center. His noodle arm needs to stay in LF.
Perhaps while you are in tampa you can get me a Brett Gardner Autograph. (big smile)
